The American School of Bombay's Expeditions Program is an opportunity for ASB students to participate in courses that take them traveling to pursue their passions.
The Expeditions program is designed so that students can explore outdoor activities and have close connections with nature. We aim for our students to holistically build life skills and appreciation for our natural environment.
The American School of Bombay offers Language Immersion programs for our High school students. ASB students travel with their teacher and peers to a chosen city in a country where their chosen language of study is spoken. An example of a previous Language Immersion includes a week in Valencia, Spain, during the Fall break last year. Students were billeted out in groups of two or more, staying with local families. They attended a language college each day, and also had many opportunities to explore Valencia and soak up the local culture.
Our Language Immersion trips are designed so students experience local culture, participate in local activities, speak and interact with locals, and attend language classes. Our Language Immersion trips provide an opportunity for our students to strengthen their skills in their chosen language of study. These usually take place during the Fall or Spring breaks.
